Under the direction of the Program Supervisor, the Placement Coordinator will be responsible for the supervision and support to foster families in their provision of care to children which includes education, coaching and support to increase caregiver capacity in the areas of behaviour management, crisis management, intervention and evaluation. This role will require evening and occasional weekend work.  

The successful candidate will have:
• A Diploma or Degree in Human Services
• Knowledge of the complex needs of the Foster Care System
• Experience working in foster care or in a family-based setting 
• Competency in the areas of assessment, program planning and case management 
• Strong writing, organizational, case planning and interpersonal skills
• Valid Driver’s license and adequate insurance coverage
• Police check and Child Intervention Record Check (current within six months) 
• SAFE certification would be an asset

Salary Range: $57,384.00– $63,761.00
