McMan Youth, Family and Community Services Association of Calgary and Area is a responsive and innovative organization making a difference in the lives of more than 4100 children, youth, and families annually. McMan currently has an exciting opportunity for a Wraparound Facilitator who will work collaboratively with Aventa Centre of Excellence for Women with Addictions (Aventa). The Wraparound Facilitator will provide support for women who are in recovery and identified as high risk due to compounding barriers such as mental health, trauma, poverty or cognitive disabilities. Reporting to the Program Supervisor, the Wraparound Facilitator will be responsible for working from a client centered, strength-based and culturally sensitive lens in a collaborative team environment alongside staff at Aventa. The Facilitator will use the Motivational Interviewing Informed Wraparound (Mii Wrap) model to provide a structured, creative and individualized team planning process which supports women to achieve individualized goals that promote stability, lifelong connections and successful treatment outcomes.
Some of the key responsibilities of this role include:
- Identifying, engaging, strengthening and expanding natural support networks
- Developing integrated plans that address priority needs of the individual
- Developing comprehensive crisis stabilization and relapse prevention plans
- Facilitating and coordinating team members from various systems
The successful candidate has:
- Diploma or a Degree in Human Services
- Knowledge and experience working with families
- Awareness of appropriate community resources and services
- Strong writing, organizational, program planning, facilitation and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of addictions and mental health
- Understanding and knowledge of Indigenous practices
- Experience working with Indigenous populations
- Motivational Interviewing Informed Wraparound (Mii Wrap) training or experience
- 3 to 5 years experience facilitating teams and working with various systems
- Ability to work a flexible shift pattern that includes, some evening work and occasional weekend work, as well as the willingness to be on call.
- Current standard First Aid Certification and Suicide Intervention Training
- Police check and Child Intervention Record Check (current within six months)
- Valid Driver’s license and adequate insurance coverage
- Own transportation

Salary Range: $57,384.00 – $63,761.00
