Hope Heights is a 35-unit intergenerational living space providing affordable housing for seniors, young adults, and single mothers with a focus on Indigenous housing. McMan is seeking a Case Manager to provide light‑touch case management and to facilitate programming in the building, fostering connections among residents, reducing isolation, strengthening cultural identity, and supporting long-term stability and safety. Key supports include connecting tenants to community resources, assisting with digital literacy, and promoting housing stability and eviction prevention. In collaboration with our Reconciliation Lead, the Case Manager will plan Indigenous cultural activities and community‑building events to strengthen relationships and improve overall well‑being. To promote tenant stability and prevent evictions, the Case Manager will support with coordinating referrals for vacant units, managing community partnerships, move in and move out processes, unit inspections and maintenance needs.
Key aspects of this role include:
- Providing tenant support to promote housing stability and conflict resolution
- Planning and facilitating community events that build intergenerational connections
- Provide personalized support, advocacy and resources to the tenants
- Engaging and building relationships with First Nations, Inuit, and Métis Elders and Knowledge Keepers for cultural events
- Educating and supporting individuals to build skills that increase self‑efficacy
The ideal candidate will have:
- A degree or diploma in Human Services and 3 years of related work experience
- Understanding of Landlord and Tenant Act
- Strong writing, organizational, program planning, and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated interest and knowledge of Indigenous history, language, and culture
- Current standard First Aid Certification
- Current Police and Child Intervention checks (current within 6 months)
- A reliable vehicle, Valid Driver’s license and adequate insurance coverage (2 million dollars 3rd party liability)
- A flexible schedule with the ability to work some evenings and weekends to accommodate programming needs and the ability to participate in the organization's on-call rotation

Salary Range: $49,768.00 - $54,931.00 annually
